About Julie: Julie holds a current CDA, through the Council of Professional Recognition, and is Child Care Business Management qualified through Texas State University.  In 2003, Julie was a featured guest speaker at the Gulf Coast Association for the Education of Young Children's (GCAEYC) "Back to School" Convention in LaPorte, TX, where she lectured on Integrating Music and Movement the daily schedule of preschool classrooms.  She was a classroom teacher for 12 years, and was involved in Child Care Management for 2 years.  Her goal when speaking to teachers, is to re-ignite the passion and excitement in teachers when working wth young children.  Teaching preschoolers is FUN.. and her philosophy is that learning should be too.
